I've Just Seen Jim's Face

Okay, this is one of the main things anyone should know me: one of my favourite movies ever, ever, EVER is ---> Across The Universe

I've probably discussed this more than once on this blog, but seeing as my memory always fails me when it comes to stuff like these I honestly don't remember. All I know is, it's a near-perfect movie, and all the more wondrous if you, like me, love any of the following:

i) Musicals
ii) The Beatles
iii) Jim Sturgess
iv) Joe Anderson
v) Evan Rachel Wood
vi) Anyone who sings in the movie
vii) Freakin' music

So, as I was hearing songs iTunes shuffled for me, one of the BEST songs on the soundtrack came up

I've Just Seen A Face

If you've ever had a moment where you met and saw someone for the first time, and just went 'Oh wow, that is one heck of a person. I think I'm in love.', this is probably the song for you. I don't know about you, but I think every moment in life deserves a song. If my life were a musical (and I hope for the same thing everyday), ATU is the one I want it to mirror - complete with Joe and Jim. Ha!

The song doesn't deserve to just be heard, of course. Seeing it pretty much heightens the entire meaning of the song, as well as multiplies the feeling it evokes times 10. I might be biased, but it's just...so...amazing.

Here's that aforementioned scoop of musical chocolate ice cream:

Lyrics:

I've just seen a face,
I can't forget the time or place
That we'd just met, she's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Na na na na na na

Had it been another day
I might have looked the other way
But I had never been aware
And as it is I dream of her tonight
Na na na na na na

CHORUS:
Falling, yes I am falling
And she keeps calling me back again

I have never known
The likes of this, I've been alone
And I have missed things and kept out of sight
But other girls were never quite like this
Na na na na na na

CHORUS

I've just seen a face
I can t forget the time or place
And we'd just met, she's just the girl for me
And I want all the world to see we've met
Na na na na na na

CHORUS
