Impulse

I'll probably regret this very, very soon (as in I'll be whacking my head in the next half hour), but oh well, I probably think too much sometimes, so here goes:

If you were here, what would you do?

If you were here, what would you say?

Life piles up in layers,

And the little things get me through the day in quick little spurts.

Nothing lasts.

I wish you would.

Don't know what's wrong.

Less of what's real.

I'm trying to keep from sinking.

I know I can do this.

But the days would shine

If you were just around.

Being alone's an option.

But now you're my only choice.

Every word I say I regret.

But somewhere deep down I keep it

And it comes right back sometime someday

If you were here, how would it be?

If you were here, maybe I would. I could just be.

You can be my last gasp of air on earth.

You can be my first thought in the day.

But everything's still just the same.

I want you right here with me

But the simplest things can be the hardest.

I want you here

I want you here

P.S: If you're wondering if it's supposed to make sense, the answer's pretty obvious isn't it ? ;)

1 cheers for daydreams:
